Thank YOU, Steve Berlin, for your posting on the STAGGERINGLY RARE KATE RARITIES!!! It was timely, witty, right on the money, and a WHOLE lot nicer than I had planned to be. I have been tempted for the longest time to flame (or nuke) the offers of interstellar debris from the intergaallactic garage guy. I find his postings (IMHO) tacky. I have no problem with private individuals (i.e. NOT businesses) offering to sell their most prized possesions, items for which they have some emotional attachment, due to hardship or duplication, etc. However, this OTHER type of posting, offering "products" of dubious value or desirablity (from which KaTe derives no additional revenue, no less, for the so-called added value, with laughable certificates of "authenticity"), belong somewhere else. Perhaps a newsgroup like biz.offers.snake-oil ;-) Or perhaps he could hook up with one of those cable TV home shopping operations, who always seem to offer things of dubious value. (I can't believe my cable company now has 2 full-time and one half-time home shopping fiascos!!!) In any case, thanks again, Steve! As far as tales of woe, I bought my wife Billy Joel's Greatest Hits (double CD) and despite the stencil on the disk itself, I got classical music. Second set at the store was the same. The third set actually had Joel. Soooo, if you live far from the store, ABSOLUTELY make them play it!!! <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<*>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << Michael Ody | Our Motto: >> << AT&T-Bell Labs (908) 957-4532| We're all here >> << MT 1A-237 ody@apache.mt.att.com| 'cause we're not all there! >> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<*>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
