Belated, but sincere! (I didn't get home until after midnight, but hey, it's
gotta still be the 30th *somewhere* in the world...maybe?)

The Chicago Tribune noted, as they have for the past several years, that
it was Kate's birthday. Not singled out, just in a list with a lot of
other people who were having birthdays.
