I've been reading this newsgroup for some time, but I've never posted before.
"Dear Penthouse, I never thought I'd write a letter..."

I may be able to shed some light on this title confusion. "The Red Shoes" is a
ballet which has been around for some time. It's based on a horrible children's
story about a pair of magical slippers that dance a little girl to death
because she didn't obey her parents - or something like that. A Kate connection
is unlikely.

About the film, I haven't a clue.

I do have a couple of questions I'd like to throw into the fray...

Why is our favorite diva's name spelled KaTe? and,

How is Sarah McLachlan generally regarded in this neck of the woods?

I read a couple of other newsgroups, and I must say that you people are by far
the most polite and helpful that I've run across so far. Most other groups seem
to be dominated by oafs with third-grade diction who only seem interested in
insulting one another. What a waste of technology...
