In article <m0oBCVq-000iljC@fciad2.bsd.uchicago.edu>: > EMI-Manhattan is a buget re-release label, and they usually skip >the lyric booklet. Original releases can often be found in used cd >shops. > Chris Williams of Sorry, Chris, but in this case you're not quite right. EMI-Manhattan was simply the new name of EMI-America, formed when EMI's two divisions, EMI-America and Manhattan Records, merged. Even new, full-priced releases were on the EMI-Manhattan label. It's the "Price Buster" label that indicated that it was a budget re-release. It's true, though, that the EMI-America pressings included the lyrics, while the EMI-Manhattan did not. Incidentally, the name of this label has been changed once again, and it's now called EMI Records USA. Ed ed@wente.llnl.gov
