If anybody's interested, I've cropped the border off these (all
slightly less than 320 pixels wide now), adjusted the aspect ratio to
4:3, tweaked the gamma a little, converted them to GIF (don't trust
these lossy compression algorithms 8-) and put them on ftp.epcc.ed.ac.uk
in pub/local/images/gif/kate/aspel/aspel0[1-5].gif.

I've also uploaded the audio files into /tmp on ftp.uu.net (again) -
Bill's going to put them in the archive somewhere, I think.
