1) digitizing 4 mins of Aspel will be about 4 Mb.  I vote *yes* (but I can't
even ftp, and I'm not in the UK :^(

2) flashing the news via phonelines seems top priority urgent.  can we get
a UK volunteer to feed a tape by phone to a US site that can set up their
answering machine to play the whole thing?  (we might have a code like
let-it-ring-once-then-callback so they know to let the machine pick it up)

june-to-september is UNBEARABLE!!!!
