Jane Siberry and A Request (Both Non-Kate)

I was in a record store in Bellingham (Washington) on Friday and on their
new releases board there was a Jane Siberry album penned in for June 18. No
title but it had written next to it in different colour pen "with KD and
Eno". Just
to warn you Jane lovers....

I have a somewhat unusual request that I'm hoping some of the European
members of the list can help me with. I have a friend who has a band, and
his band have
signed to a label that so far have only released their record in Germany.
He has been trying to get info. from the label (based in Toronto) as to how
the
record is doing, or how widely it is available, but it seems that
communication isn't too good with the German label the record has been
licensed to. I am wondering if anyone on this list who goes to record
stores in Germany would be willing to look for the record next time they do
so (not buy, just look to see if it is in stock, but if you decide to buy
it that's OK too :) If you can help, please e-mail me privately and I will
supply you with the details. Thanks!
