If you have a newer Mac (Almost anything since the Mac IIx), you should be
able to use an Apple-supplied program called "Apple File Exchange" to read,
write, and format MS-DOS floppies.  AFE should be on the kit of system
floppies that came with your machine, although it probably was not installed
by the Installer script...  You just need to drag it off the floppy onto your
harddrive.
