My experience is that Sony MDR-V6's are not adequate for tD, while MDR-
CD555s are.  Amazingly, the price diff. is only about $20...

(And it ain't just volume... there are times tD is better, *kind of 
quiet*....)

1) Sat in your lap

(Anybody know what Stevie-Wonder song might have inspired this?)  People say 
Kate's way of using trumpets has been copied endlessly, since.

2) There goes a tenner

Think about the doof'ers trying to topple the World Trade Center!  (Kate 
says this is a meditation on courage, in the context of crime.)

3) Pull out the pin

People who hated "Hanoi Jane" Fonda probably shouldn't know about this song, 
sung from the perspective of a Viet Cong soldier hunting Americans.  I'll 
always see it in terms of the heroine of Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket", 
which actually ties into the Kate-Cloudbusting-WilhelmReich connection, 
because *Kubrick's* title evoked Reich's psychoanalytic distinction between 
'fascists' whose bodies are rigid with character armor, and loose, healthy 
characters who still remember how to *shimmy*...!

4) Suspended in gaffa

As Andy pointed out, 'Hounds have been remiss in not coming to terms with 
the discovery of the British 'gaffa' movie, which seems to nail down a 
literal interpretation of these lyrics, as *sung by an heiress who must 
marry to inherit* (if I remember aright).

of Hannah, from this video, in HG a couple issues back.  Say a little prayer 
for Hannah and Alan, maybe, at this point Friday night?  <:^(
