IED blushes, in receipt of so many kind words of welcome from so many familiar (and much missed) names. He sends his kind regards to Vickie (who apparently is not holding IED's recent flame against him--thankyou for your tolerance of this curmudgeon, Vickie), Chris, Meredith, Graham, Jon (IED was a little dazed to find his nascency so benignly, not to say fondly, recalled by such a formidable persona as Drukman, but he nevertheless enjoyed the, er, tribute), Michael Butler, MarK T. (wonderful reminiscences you conjured up in IED's feverish noodle, MarK, IED sends his best to you and yours), Pablo, Michael Knight, Tippi Chai--and several other well-wishers whose names rang a bell. Now, as someone just posted the other day, if only there were a good disKussion after all this nostalgic banter... Thanks for the information about "Butterfly Kiss"; IED must seek it out. This <rjc> person certainly says some very sensible things. So does Michael Blackmore. Prince may have recorded as many as four tracks with Kate Bush, though IED thinks it more likely that they never actually did do anything together. There was a report in _Vox_ magazine last October (or thereabouts) which put them backstage together after one of Prince's London concerts. Supposedly they had planned to collaborate before that, and that they might at that time have done several recordings, and that they were discussing further collaborations for the future. But until some tangible evidence is forthcoming, IED would not recommend that fans of either Kate or Prince wait for the result with breaths held. -- Andrew Marvick (IED), tail on fire
