New album by HAPPY RHODES

Happy Rhodes' new album (her 6th) is now available directly from
Aural Gratification. No one has heard it yet, so I can't pass
along any reviews, but I'm sure many will be forthcoming. 

CDs are available now, cassettes will be available in mid-February.

In the USA, CDs are $13.99 each. $2.00 p&h for one CD, $0.50 for each
additional CD (should you get more than one or anything from the back
catalog at the same time.) In the UK, CDs are 11 pounds each, postage

Happy is an independent artist who has always paid for her albums herself.
To support Happy is to support an intelligent, interesting, innovative
and independent female singer/songwriter/musician. 

I've been a major fan since 1988, when only a handful of people outside
of Albany, NY knew about her. I'm certainly biased, but I love her music
*deeply*. The net has been very supportive of her and she appreciates it.
She even thanked Ecto, the mailing list dedicated to her, in the liner
notes of her 1st 4 CDs. Those albums were only available on cassette
until her net fans encouraged her to release them on CD (there are over
125 people on Ecto now.)

I'm more interested in passing the music along to people who might
appreciate it than I am in making Happy money, and I don't get anything
out of it other than the satisfaction of knowing that her music is
being appreciated, so please don't view this message as a commercial
push, though I realize it looks like that.
