This isn't a flame (in the sense of nasty words and personal slurs) so it's
not going directly to Evan - but I don't mind political discussions at all,
as long as they don't dominate the content. Heck, until there is a new
album, something has to occupy the list :)

The Motor-Voter Act is a great idea. Yes, voting should be taken seriously,
but you have to be ABLE to vote before you think seriously about your
choice. And how seriously do you think the majority of American voters
(until the last time, a smallish percentage of the overall American
population) take their choices anyway? Making it difficult for people to
register is not going to eliminate stupid voters.
