this is not a good thing.  i found it sickeningly hypocritical that the
inaugural ball would feature rock music when tipper & her cronies were
responsible for the pmrc.  has everyone forgotten?  did you know that the
blank tape tax has passed?  the whole point of the pmrc was to turn our
attention away from stuff like that and it succeeded brilliantly.  now all
the tapes i buy for my studio are going to cost even *more*.  yucko.  (i buy
DAT cassettes which are already too damn expensive, but if you're going to
go pro, they're essential.)
