Hello Fiona, > Re the discussion on how or how not to introduce people to Kate Bush: > > So if the person you are trying to convert likes "modern music"/alternative > stuff, try hitting 'em with The Dreaming at full volume. It just might > work. Might be a good solution, but I only know a few people who like loud music. Personnaly, I've started to like Kate's songs when I first heard her on TV6 (french musical television, now dead), showing a live concert. The first album I bought was : 'The Whole Story'. I was knowing many of the songs in this compilation, and I started to buy the 1st real album, and latest at this date : 'Hounds of Love'. It was the Initiation. Everyone know that after Initiation comes Faith ;^) I've converted a friend (just a little bit, sadly :-( ) by doing a small animation on my computer and playing 'Wuthering Heights', really magic ! Sincerely, -- Philippe .----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | Philippe Berard (French Amiga User) | | | "They hold a cup of wisdom, | UseNet : amipb@amipb.gna.org | | But there is nothing within" (Kate Bush). | | `----------------------------------------------------------------------------'
