The Dreaming

Hey Steve,
I can't post to rec.music.gaffa, but I sure read your post
with a smile.  You wrote "Now, what *I* think is interesting
is that I've yet to hear of anyone becoming a Katefan through
what most of us consider to be her best album -The Dreaming."

Well....that's me.  I was living in Germany at the time when
"Sat in Your Lap" was popular, saw the video on "Formel Eins,"
the Friday-night-video-show, and was hooked.  I had my brother
buy me the album then for Christmas that year, and when I
turned on the record player, put the needle to "The Dreaming,"
I was terrified!  I called my best friend and told her I
think I had a demon-possessed record!  We laugh about thta
now, but it was quite a shocker to me to hear those first
lines of "TD."  Anyhow, that was, is, and always will be
my favorite Kate album.  It is absolutely brilliant.  HoL
is great too, but TD is I think, the best album in the 
entire world.  What genius <sigh> :)
