For reference's sake, I am a >big Bush/Amos/Vega/Tikaram/McLachlan fan... is HR something I need >to check out? Yes, absolutely. Not that everyone will like Happy, but she definitely fits into the list you gave. She's much more obscure than those artists mainly because she doesn't have a record contract and has always been very independent. She has 5 albums out (paid for all of them herself, with the help of her co-producer/SO Kevin Bartlett) and is working on her 6th. She writes all her own music/lyrics. Like Bush/Amos/Vega/Tikaram/McLachlan, she's hard to categorize and label, so you'll excuse me if I don't even try to tell you what her music sounds like. Whatever category those women fit into, put Happy there too. If you'd like further information, either subscribe to Ecto and/or write to me. Thanks for asking about her! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Vickie "My ears are lucky to hear vickie@pilot.njin.net these glorious songs" HTR _________ |_ _ | _ The Happy Rhodes mailing list "Imagination sets in, then |__|_ ||_| ecto-request@ns1.rutgers.edu all the voices begin" KB Jessica Dembski-Ecto Goddess Lady -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
