Am I committing a gaffa gaff?

A question for gaffa-

I have tried twice now to post a message concerning some Kate
items I would like to sell.  Neither post ever appeared.  So
I ask:

Are messages concerning the buying and selling Kate items taboo
on r.m.g?  Am I committing a faux pas, and my messages are being
censored by a moderator?

Or are they simply going off into the aether and I'm being paranoid.

If I should be posting these to rec.music.marketplace and NOT HERE 
will someone please be so kind as to tell me.  I just wanted to
give the steadfast Kate fans of gaffa first crack at them.
