No Kate Album?

Once again I here faint rumors of a new Kate album.  Long-time KateFans have
had to put up with this for YEARS - it seems every week for the past decade
or so someone says "Kate's new album is due in three months!".  This is even
on weeks where she just released a new album.

So to calm people down, and put things in perspective:

TOP 10 REASONS KATE WILL NOT RELEASE AN ALBUM THIS YEAR.

10.  It's hard to follow up doing the soundtrack to "Cool as Ice".

9.  Ennui

8.  The next album will be all-reggae; she is still growing dreadlocks.

7.  She's fallen and (no!  I won't say it!)

6.  She's been spending too much time watching Mystery Science Theater 3000.

5.  She's spending the year dead for tax purposes.

4.  She's still negotiating the rights to cover C.W. McCall's "Convoy".

3.  She burnt down her studio to protest the Rodney King cop verdict.

2.  Del Palmer is still taking lessons from Yoko Ono on "How to ruin a
    perfectly good thing."

1.  She's still trying to get "That Tori Amos Sound".
