Hello!
This is my report on the Tori Amos
concert here in San Francisco.
She really does live up to the hype.
I haven't been so impressed with a
live performer in years. She doesn't
just sing a song, she wraps herself
around it like a passionate lover.
Her piano playing is superb, but her
singing miraculous. She puts so much
feeling and style and meaning into
each word. A day later I'm still stunned
If you get the chance to see her, do
yourself a favor and wait at the stage
door with the other groupies. She's
just as nice as reported. She handed out
hugs and handshakes and autographs and
kind word like Santa giving candy to
hungry kids. For me she wrote "Love, Tori Amos"
It was love at first sight all right.
For ME anyway.
The woman is BEAUTIFUL! Much more so than you'd guess from her album. She has flaming red hair (I'm a sucker for
redheads), is rather tall, about 5'8" and is about 29.
As they say in the trades, a star is born.
