Better run (don't walk) back to your copy of -Fugazi- if you still believe this. Better yet, check out "Grendel" off the Marillion B-sides compilation, released in 1982 before any albums. Then throw on some mid-period Genesis, perhaps -Wind and Wuthering-. The similarities are undeniable. I believe Fish himself has cited Genesis as a primary influence more than once. And I can't imagine that Mark Kelly (their keyboardist) hasn't listened intensely to Tony Banks' work with Genesis any more than I can believe that Tori's never heard -The Kick Inside- or -Never For Ever-. Not a chance. Enough Marillion-speak for now. I now return you to your regularly scheduled Tori-chatter. -Bruce
