Hi,
I'm sure we've all been watching the PBS series, "The Machine That Changed
the World," which is about the history of computers and computing.
I happen to like the music that is played during the introduction and when
the credits are rolled. It's kindof a classical piece with a choir soprano
solo. It's kindof similar to the soprano solo in "All The Love" from
_The_Dreaming_. Again, I never took a real music appreciation class, so I can't
define it any better for you.
I wonder if anyone in this group recognizes the music and knows if it
can be purchased? The music credit goes to someone at the "BBC Radiophonic
Workshop," which would seem to indicate that it's an original composition.
However, I hoping that it might have been adapted from someone's previous
work.
As this group has wide musical tastes, I figure there's a good chance
that someone in the group would know the music. I especially think the
odds are pretty good that Jon Drukman would know something about it, given
his demonstrated breadth of musical knowledge.

Thanks,
Andy
