Hmm, all this talk about Kate's popularity (or lack thereof) illustrates a good point brought up a couple of months ago: Is Kate Pop? In England, the answer would have to be yes. Never mind the music - a string of Top-10 albums is Pop in my book. If, say, Feotus had a string of top-10 albums, the exact same garbag^H^H^H^H^H^Hmusic he put out, HE would have to be called Pop. Which is totally meaningless. When has popularity ever been a sign of quality? In America, Kate "Who's That?" Bush is sadly still a cult figure. Sure, "cool" folks know who she is, but if you polled your average Miller- drinking, Sylvester Stallone-loving American, they would never have heard of her. Also this means that in America, Kate is NOT Pop. But coming from a country that fawns al over aerosmith and Z.Z. Top, I take that as a compliment. - Stev0 the Popular "I'm too sexy for my babooshka." - Right Said Kate -- Steve Berlin | This .sig has NO signature virus, nor does it even stev0@sti.com | remotely refer to Kibo.
