Funny you should mention that under this Subj: line -- Diamanda did
this song Saturday night in Chicago.  Amazing show, although mostly
of new material.  No surpse, that (solo piano and vox), but it still
would have been qool to hear her "cover" some of her own older material.

If you've never heard Diamanda, the new album _The Singer_ is a very
accessible first taste.  Her other albums are much darker and more
sinister.  She *does* use her complete range on the new album; its 
just that the high-end homicidal screams are *not* a prevalent theme.
