Double postings

I'm seeing about 90% of the gaffa postings twice.  Remarkably
annoying.  Are others having the same problem?  Is it a matter
of mailing to eddie vs. posting directly to the group?  Is
there anything anyone can do?  Is there ANY ESCAPE??!?
