Subject: KaTe reference by Wenders? & Tori
To: love-hounds@wiretap.spies.com
Saw _Until the End of the World_ over the long weekend; weird, fascinating movie. Solveig Dommartin is a joy to watch (and look at ;). Anyway, was it wishful thinking or did I see a KaTe reference? Specifically, in the Australian police station I'm sure I saw a poster or something on the wall with "TE BUSH" on it. Any lettering to the left (like "KA") was obscured by one of the actors. Also caught my first glimpse (literally, about 18 seconds worth) of Tori Amos' "Silent All These Years" last night on MTV News. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing the whole thing, but my first impression: interesting, pretty voice, she's definitely heard some KaTe before. I'll be picking up the album. Now if they would just show Sarah M.'s "Into the Fire". Almost forgot: Concrete Blonde's "Ghost of a Texas Ladies' Man" is great fun. Another disc I'm looking forward to. _____________________________________________________________ John Zimmer sun.com!nosun!tessi!john Irgendwo in der Tiefe gibt es ein Licht! _____________________________________________________________
