Clifford C. Skolnick asks if Kate has a "five octave vocal range". This figure (and "four-octave") is quite commonly cited, but according to Andrew Marvick "Virtually no human voice is capable of "spanning" four full octaves. Kate' recorded vocal range extends about three octaves and two whole tones." Alan James asked about a "talk back" CD interview disk. Was it "Batobak", "Chat With The Stars" or "Conversation Disk Series"??? Probably "batobak" in which case it has two interviews, one from 1982 (a "raw" interview tape from an unknown source) and one from 1985 (standard stuff). All of the about mentioned interviews are transcribed and in Cloudbusting, so the decision to get them has more to do with whether you like the photoart or what to actually be able to hear Kate speaking. -- INTERNET: rhill@netlink.cts.com (Ron Hill) UUCP: ...!nosc!ryptyde!netlink!rhill NetLink Online Communications * Public Access in San Diego, CA (619) 435-6181
