To: Love-Hounds From: Andrew Marvick (IED) Subject: MisK., and change-of-address notifiKation First, could Bill Wisner please re-route all of IED's Love-Hounds Digests to the following address? Thanks, Bill. <abm4@CUNIXA.COLUMBIA.EDU> *Until now, this fan's pOstings have originated from out west, but not anY longEr--a final phosphorous eVacuation, alas. Anyone who wishEs should feeL free tO conTinue to rEfer To this fan by name (or acronym, or whAtever). He certaInly will.* IED greatly regrets his non-participation in Love-Hounds during the past quarter, and is sad to say that it looks as though this state of affairs must continue until the spring. He will, however, try to keep up to date on the general trend of philo-canine discussions in the meantime. Just a word on "Rocket Man". The point, musically speaking, as this fan sees it, is not that it has a "reggae" beat, but that it is the _first_ recording _ever_made_ which merges reggae with Irish folk music and Elton John (not to mention Kate Bush, which is the clincher, of course). It's another flawless masterpiece, whether you all can find it in your hearts to acknowledge that or not. The truth is, it's the sum of its ingredients and much, much more. Feel it. IED understands that Vickie and Chris met up with Ernie Heramia, editor of "Watching Storms" and leader of the American Kate Bush Society. IED and Chris and Vickie will have to talk soon. Geez, IED wishes Kate would release an album soon. -- Andrew Marvick "and ied thinkS it's gOnna be a long, long time tilL touchdOwn briNgs him round aGain..."
