Q Magazine (Sept issue) reports that it is putting together a
compilation album in partnership with Telstar Records. Kate Bush will
be among the featured artists - though there is no information about
which track. It will be released on Sept. 2nd.

The same issue also mentions that Sinead O'Connor "is up for the role
of Joan of Arc in a Hollywood biopic, and is also interested in playing
Kathie (sic) in a movie of Wuthering Heights - she's read the script
and liked it, though it's not clear as yet whether the production will
actually go ahead."

The series on Irish music "Bringing It All Back Home" has now ended
its run on BBC TV. Contrary to the information in a previous issue of
Q Mag. Kate Bush was not featured in any of the programmes. This means
one of two things (a) Q got it all wrong, or (b) there is footage of
Kate lying on a cutting room floor somewhere which did not make it into
the final edit of the programmes. Despite the disappointment it was
an enjoyable series with a lot of very good Irish and Irish-influenced
music.
