Unless of course you view whatever Kate is doing as what Kate is doing,
in which case if she corroborates with someone then that is what she is doing,
and it's interesting in and of itself.  I, for one, am quite interested
in seeing Kate do things with other musical geniuses... the results 
could be exciting.
