This is a repost, I got a message from eddie that my posting didn't make it to alaska. As I am not sure what that means (maybe it was send in the mailing list, but not in the news) I'll just post it again. Sorry if you see it twice. Klaus. --- Hi, is there space for yet another survivor with 10 disks on this remote desert island? After long thoughts I come up with the following list, which will also contain the release year of the record: ----- TOP TEN ----- 1. Kate Bush The Dreaming (1982) 2. Happy Rhodes Warpaint (1991) 3. Rainbirds Two Faces (1991) 4. Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick (1972) 5. Eurythmics Revenge (1986) 6. Laurie Anderson Strange Angels (1989) 7. Peter Gabriel So (1986) 8. Mike Batt Tarot Suite (1979) 9. Camel Moonmadness (1976) 10. Pink Floyd Wish you were here (1975) ----- FOLLOW-UPs ----- 11. Alan Parsons Project Tales of Edgar Allan Poe (1976) 12. Manfred Mann's Earth Band Nightingales & Bombers (1975) 13. Mory Kante Akwaba Beach (1987) 14. Sting The dream of the blue turtles (1985) 15. Tanita Tikaram Ancient Heart (1988) 16. Jerr Wayne War of the Worlds (1978) 17. United Jazz+Rock Ensemble Highlights (1986) 18. David Bowie Ziggy Stardust (1972) 19. Dire Straits Brothers in Arms (1985) 20. Stranglers Aural sculpture (1984) I saw this strange image of a map of the world with the current distribution of KaTe Bush records on the planet with an enormous high density on that tiny island. I hope that a plane will throw a box full of copies of KaTes next album on our island! I won't start with a list of DIMs or DIBs. Just have to mention that most of my favourite movies feature Kate (Katharine Hepburn that is). Bye, Klaus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- He thought he was gonna die.
