to be more specific about the Milgram's 37 thing: The subjects were not
actually shocked, but did act as if they were being shocked. The persons
applying the shocks (the true subjects) were told that the shocks were possibly
lethal in some runs of the experiment. One actor even claimed he had a heart
condition. Some of the actors scripts are very frightening. Milgram usually
performed the experiments on groups of 40 "shockers" under a variety of
conditions. About 37 of the 40 administered enough shock to make the actor
"uncomfortable". (Stanely Milgram, 1933-1984, experiment performed in 1965
and 1974)

About this Diamonda Galas person: Where or what types of places does she
usually perform? The descriptions so far bring to mind an angry song and
dance by Karen Finley.

					Have fun, Joel

P.S. I still hold that Milgram's 37 is an alcoholic beverage - or at least
it should be.
