Our netnews system has finally been fixed, we're now actually able to
*reply* to messages | Ain't modern technology great ? This is a series
of replies, unsollicited comments, ... on the last posts.

I came back from the KonvenTion, just to have 2 weeks' worth of exams ;
that and the late netnews bug made it hard to post. But it's been
wonderful to see you all - having Kate with us is, of course, beyond
words. Took me days to wipe that silly grin off my face (it still comes
back when I try to remember anything, though... :)

I hadn't been to London in years, I'm surprised at how *clean* it has
become | (I didn't go sightseeing around Brixton, of course.) Some parts
of Paris are put to shame. Then again, *our* megastore is much nicer than
*their* megastore. Great stone stairs, columns, wossname... it has them
all. It also has the Boxed Set at FF1400 ($280) - can you say rip-off ?

I read Dave Barry's column last saturday in the International Herald
Tribune, I cut it off and thought : I gotta post this, copyright or no
copyright. Obviously, Chris beat me to it. It's so accurate, it's
uncanny (and *now* you know how to pass off as English anywhere in the
universe).

I've tested netnews on "Un Baiser D'Enfant", I'll add that "Ne T'En Fui
Pas" is hopelessly wrong - it should be "Ne T'Enfuis Pas". But now that
it's on CD's, we might as well change French grammar. She sez it's that
way, I sez it's that way.

There's a mention of Kate in a Terry Pratchett novel | It's in "Eric",
a B4-sized Discworld book with illustrations by Kirby. I'll post the
paragraph when I get the book back.

I'm game for the European Katemas '91, if I can afford it. To all those
who haven't made up their minds yet (and it's DECEMBER already), remember
that it will probably be the LAST Katemas before the Tour II starts :)
