Subject: Attention conventioneers!!!
If anyone wants to be included in the arrangements I'm making for lodgings for the week of Nov 16-22, I need to hear by Thursday the 1st. Here is the deal: in the "Time Out" London Guide there is a bed&breakfast listed called the Anne Elizabeth House. I have tentatively booked beds for ten of us there, at prices ranging from 8 pounds per night including breakfast. These cheap beds require that we sleep five to a room, so give this some thought. Other rates are: 2 beds per room: 12.50 pounds 3 beds per room: 11.25 pounds These rooms are getting booked up fast, so tell me your needs and a phone number for details. My phone is 312-973-0874 home, 708-467-1013 work (ok to call). I need to know how willing you are to share a room with other love-hounds in order to save money, and what night's you'll be staying. This means a firm commitment-- people backing out will cost us bucks. The B&b is on the border between Earl's Court and Kensington, very near the Gloucester Road tube station. The neighborhood could be better, but I am assured it is perfectly safe. There is a laundromat on the premises, and bathrooms with showers (not in the rooms), a tv room and cooking facilities. Time Out lists only a very few b&b's, so I assume this is an especially recommended one. They call it a good bargain.
