I was watching Saturday Night Live. It was perhaps '79 or '80. Don't remember the guest host. I only remember that Kate did two numbers, one of which was "The Man With The Child In His Eyes". I remember her on top of a grand piano. I fell immediately and hopelessly IN LOVE. I scoured record stores and snapped up everything of hers as soon as it was available. I listened "alone" for years. The only other fans I EVER ran across (until this conference) was a friend from my home town (Cleveland) and his lover, who now reside in Ft. Lauderdale. It's refreshing to finally know that I'm not alone in my passion for Kate. Is this performance part of everyone's basic video library? Is it available as part of the recycled SNL series ("available at video stores everywhere")? Forgive me if this is old stuff, but I'm new to this conference. By the way, John Coltrane's "Cosmic Music" album also includes the chant "Ah Om Man Ni Pad Mi Hum", which he refers to as "the seven breaths of man". <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<*>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << Michael Ody | >> << AT&T-BL (201) 615-4908| (t.b.d.) >> << HR 2A-033 ody@feathers.ATT.COM| >> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<*>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
