Rob, your memory is mis-leading you.  Dagmar Krause used to be the singer
for Henry Cow, and I believe she was also with the Art Bears, which was
a subset of Henry Cow.  She has done a few albums on her own, I think,
including one that just came out (can't recall the name, though), and
sang on Michael Nyman's recent release "The Kiss".   She is not now, and
never has been, Nico.
     
Anyone else with more thorough information?
