Here's the chart positions from this week's _Billboard_: Modern Rock Tracks L&A #5 (up from #6) Pop CDs _TSW_ #16 (up from #28) British album chart _TSW_ #6 (down from #2) West German album chart _TSW_ debut at #20 (I think) Netherlands album chart _TSW_ debut at #10 Pan-European album chart _TSW_ debut at #6 US album chart _TSW_ #49 (up from #84) Some comments: The news continues to be good in the US. This chart was clearly compiled before the release of the video for L&A, so the video should give it a nice boost. Don't forget that it's much harder to climb positions near the top of the chart than near the bottom. Even though the album started out doing somewhat worse than _Hounds Of Love_, in its second week it's doing better! _HOL_ was #51 in its second week. And the #16 on the CD chart is just amazing. Kate is not otherwise mentioned in this issue. Ed (Edward Suranyi) | "Bush is an acquired taste worth Dept. of Applied Science | cultivating."
