I think it's because she's somewhat absentminded, as she pointed out
in the long interview where she told the story about why "A Deal With
God" was renamed to "Running Up That Hill".  It seemed like she said
something about not being able to keep things straight in interviews,
like about whether people should know about the existence of Noverica
and so forth.
