_The Sensual World_ is at Nubmer 4 in the Newbury Comics in the MIT Student Center (mmmmm, yes!). Whether she borrowed a melodic fragment or not, "The Sensual World" is very distinctly Kate Bush. Tell the accuser to put a sock in it... "Camilla"? On THE RADIO!!?!?!? Have you people gone utterly ***DAFT***!?!? Bad enough this whole obsKuriTies mess, the thingy in "Homeground", etc., etc., etc...PLAYING IT ON THE RADIO IS STUPID!!! Why don't we just all take out billboards in our home towns proclaiming ownership of illegal copies of Kate Bush's early demos? Kansas City, or no if this kind of things keeps happening SOMEONE SOMEWHERE (like Tim Maroney) is going to get all self-righteous (and quite rightly so I'm afraid this time) and get *EVERYBODY* in trouble with EMI. No matter how good the intention, how noble the cause, PLAYING IT ON THE RADIO IS ***STUPID***!!!!! I'd love to know how that one was finessed in the playlists for BMI (EMI Music Publishing Limited and Kate Bush Music Limited are both affiliated with BMI, which collects the money for airplay for them - BMI charges radio stations and distributes the appropriate royalties based on the station logs that are turned in by the station). larry...
