In my case, I suppose she was telling me not to listen to the album more
than once that day; I only got back from the record store at about 7:00 pm

Amen! As the severity of the earthquake became apparent, my first thoughts
were (1) Concern for my wife's father, who lives in Newark (near Fremont);
(2) Concern for Santa Cruz and environs, where all those wonderful
Love-Hounds live; and (3) Concern for Los Gatos, birthplace of my beautiful
Amiga....
