     The Columbia Records promo CD-single of _Love_and_Anger_ is
out there now, folks, and it is a very nice item indeed. The 5-inch
CD is housed in a hard paper, "book"-style sleeve--sort of like the
old Prince CD of _Around_World_in_a_Day_ was, remember that one?
Inside there's a plastic panel to hold the CD. The cover is in
black-and-white, and features a close-up of Kate's eyes from the
cover photo of the album (a shot of Kate with a large flower in
front of her face). The CD itself features a photo detail of the
flower itself, again in black-and-white. The CD's program contains
_Love_and_Anger_ _only_. There is no additional track. Nevertheless,
this package is attractive and unique, and will certainly become
a highly sought-after item among Kate fans, especially overseas.
Unfortunately, there are not many of them, and they have been sent
mainly to radio stations, so there is no way of predicting when or
if copies will become available even to the alert collector combing
the record shops for promos. IED wishes everyone happy hunting!
