KT and Danielle Dax

Today a DJ on a local college radio station played a few examples
of pairs of songs that were in some way similar to each other.
Sometimes they were actual covers, but usually they just sounded
similar.

One pair he played was Danielle Dax's "Hammerheads" and 
KT's "The Dreaming."  They do have kind of the same rhythm
and droning quality.  The DJ said KT's song came first,
so probably Dax got the idea from her.

If anybody else has heard "Hammerheads" I'd like to see your
comments.
