I've found the discussion of `The Ninth Wave' very interesting. On first listening I noticed the nightmare/dreamlike quality of the first side. I was also struck by the change of tone and mood introduced by `The Morning Fog' and now that I realise the whole side is thematically linked it seems reasonable to think of this change as indicating the woman's survival, particularly given the lyrics. Could someone say some more about `Cloudbusting' with particular reference to the ideas of Wilhelm Reich? I'm not familiar with his work.
