What chance for a single soon?

If IED's information about a September release for KBVI is correct (and
I have no reason to doubt his sources) would anyone care to speculate
about a likely single release prior to the album? Given Kate's long
absence from the charts the record company might want to wet the public's
appetite for the album. Of course, they then risk the single being a flop
(commercially) and actually harming album sales. Also, a late August
early September release for a single hits the end of the holiday period.
