I just picked the new Sarah Mclachlan (sp?) CD up at my local
music store. After only a few listens I have decided I really like
it. I would highly recommend it to any Kate Bush / Sinead O'Conner /
Enya fans. It is realeased domestic on Arista but is originally from
Nettwerk up in Vancouver B.C. Some people from Moev helped out and is
really evident in the song Vox (remix).
It seems Nettwerk might be getting a little softer these days.
Along with Sarah Mclachlan's new album they also released an Album by
a group called Bel Canto. This is a trio from Belgium who are very
talented. If I had to label this I would call it a cross between
Sinead and Dead can Dance. Very interesting stuff.
I would recommend these to anyone who would like to see that
Nettwerk can release something besides the Industial / techno / disco,
that they have been churning out over the past few years.
