In an article entitled "Obscure Objects of Desire", Ted Mico
interviews The Sugarcubes...

"EYES flit across the restaurant table as the guitarist-cum-poet waits
 for support.  Bragi the bass player shyly looks away.  Melax the
 newcomer has ideas but lacks the english to commune with my tape
 recorder, so Bjork talks about the absence of dolls in her childhood
 and how she always wished Kate Bush was her mother, but can't explain
 why.  I believe her.  It's all such fine fun."
