Julian West wants to know what the difference is between CDs mastered
in the United States, in the United Kingdom, in the Neitherlands and
in Japan.

If they are all made from the same digital recording, then there
should be no difference. The Japanese ones tend to be more valuable
to collectors, however. If you have an original pressing of Dark Side
of the Moon (if the label says Harvest), you might be able to sell it
for $150.

The problem (feature?) is that most are not made from the same digital
recording. Most of them are made from analog studio masters, and, sad
to say, the Japanese just do a better job with their analog masters
than we Americans do.

I don't know about UK.
