New Album

[Before I speculate on what a the new Kate Bush album would sound like, I'd
 like to ask what exactly what ``Be Kind to My Mistakes'' sounds like --
 I haven't seen a single of it around, and I forget the name of the movie
 it's from.]

If ``Experiment IV'' is any indication of things to come, I'd expect
an album that sounds even more ``normal'' than the _Hounds of Love_
(not that it was a bid for the mainstream).  Kate seems to be
discarding the density and ``expressionist'' manners of the _Dreaming_
in favor of music that seems to active draw attention to itself.
However, I don't expect her use of layering, effects, and the
Fairlight to become insignificant.  I also could imagine the next
album incorporating more folk and romantic influences.
