Television (the band)

Television was an awesome New York-based band in the 70's,
contemporaries of the Ramones, Patti Smith, etc at the CBGB's scene.
Their lead guitarist/vocalist, Tom Verlaine, came up with some very
unique stuff; incidentally, he has a new album out (_Flash Light_)
after a long near-hibernation in England.  Check it out.
