The lesser spotted Kate

There was a brief piece of Kate footage on primetime TV this monday. There
is a BBC1 programme called 'The Rock and Roll Years' which takes a year
and illustrates it by means of news clips of the major events of the year
and pieces of apposite or successful music from the same year - there is no
commentary. Last night (monday) was 1978 and Kate's 'Wuthering Heights' was
one of the featured songs. It began playing over a news clip of the Republican
Dr. Rose Dugdale marrying in prison and then they switched into the video of
the song. Less than a minute in all but better than nothing.

Someone mentioned that The Smiths have split. While it is true that Johnny
Marr has left (the usual musical differences being cited as the reason) I
believe that Morrisey intends to carry on with the rest of the band.

Just bought the 'Lonely as an Eyesore' compilation and it is excellent.
Can anyone recommend any Throwing Muses, Dead Can Dance or Colourbox
material (I'm already familiar with the Cocteaus and Mortal Coil).

Be seeing you.
