Oh great master of the cynical, cool, and hip,


    I read in one of your so sincere postings a pretty ridiculous generalization
about the Stranglers.  "Old and Decrepid"?  Would you mind elaborating on this
rather than just leaving us all hanging with this wonderful insight?

   Being a fan of the Stranglers for several years now I can admit that yes,
they have mellowed in their style, but I don't see this as a problem, rather
just a change in style.

   Care to comment?  (You can leave out the comments about Ms. Trowbridge
too.)
